Retrieval of Self

When we have traumatic or painful experiences, sometimes we can leave pieces of ourself trapped in the past or with our memory/perception of people/places from the past. Call back to you any pieces of yourself left behind or forgotten. Is there strength or self-love lost? If so, think back to when you had it last, and when you lost it. In your mind, approach that situation and ask for its safe return to you, and then see it returning into your open and loving arms.
